The official language of the Congress will be English. All abstract submissions and presentations should be in English.

Most rainfall (rainy season) is seen in April, May, June, July, August and September.

AIRPORT AND TRANSPORTATION

Shanghai has an extensive public transport system, largely based on buses, taxis, and a rapidly expanding metro system. Pudong International Airport is located 30 kilometers to downtown area.

 

CURRENCY

Chinese Yuan (also known as Renminbi, RMB for short) is the official and legal currency in circulation.

 

VISAS

According to the Administrative Law of the People’s Republic of China on Entry and Exit of Foreigners, foreigners entering China should apply for a visa to the Chinese diplomatic representative or consular offices, or other institutions authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of China.

The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or indirectly arising from the 18th of Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology Congress (APLAR 2016). Participants are advised to take out their own personal health and travel insurance for their trip.
